I'm back and I wanted to let everyone know about the "Michigan Crew" sticking together. Since we have been back, we have continued the open channels of communication between each other. This past Saturday we met up to have dinner at 5 p.m. Randy and Natalie spoiled the party but everyone else still had a blast being together. We reflected upon the good times of ASB and we continued to learn more and more about one another.
Also this past Thursday, we had a meeting with United Way of Southeastern Michigan, which was used for highs and lows of the ASB experience and the continuance of our involvement in the community locally. I was really excited because I got a chance to announce the new organization that I would be starting on campus next year. At the moment it is a secret until I get it established but I will update those who are interested to know. United Way was happy to hear that we are still excited to continue our involvement locally and that we would be able to work with them to set up projects for next year.
So we are still here and we're not going anywhere. We are committed to the idea of social change through community involvement and we hope we can see you engaged with us in the future. May God Bless you and Happy Easter!
