My name is Khurram Imam. I am nineteen years old, and enrolled at the University of Michigan in Dearborn where I am pursuing an Economics major. I heard about ASB from my sister.

This is the second time I am volunteering in Detroit. Previously I had worked for Habitat for Humanity, but I am more excited for ASB, because I read how this isn’t just a regular volunteer program. ASB integrates reflection as part of the volunteering, which give’s the experience greater meaning.
