i LOVE service!
Hey- I'm Tiauna! I am the Coordinator of Volunteer Mobilization at Michigan Campus Compact, and yes, I love service.
I graduated from Central Michigan University and while I was there I was blessed to be able to participate in two Alternative Break trips. I loved it so much that I created my own international volunteer experience and went to Japan to serve for a month last summer.
Detroit is my second home. I was born here and most of my family lives here. I love this community, and I love that a group of committed individuals are coming together to serve where there is such a great need. I'm so excited to see the impact that this week will have on the city of Detroit, and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you & serving together!

how was ur time in japan ..? i am thinking of going to africa next summer....kinda nervouse but excited!
