My name is Angela Walker and I am helping to coordinate ASB Detroit. I am 26 years old and I have been an employee of United Way for Southeastern Michigan for 3 years. I am so excited for ASB Detroit. I was able to take a group to Lake Charles last year and the experience was life altering. The people I met and the work we were able to do was amazing. I am thrilled that we can have that experience here in Michigan. I can't think of anything better to do with my life then to help others and give of myself. Together we can make a huge impact in southeastern Michigan.
I can't wait to meet everyone who's coming to Detroit. We have a fun week of service projects and activities planned. To get an idea of the outline of the week check out our Facebook page. seroiusly ...u are an angel for all the hard work and the love you give to others ...."give of myself" as you said! Your an inspiration and it is a great honor to actualy work with you and have my first ASB experience with you .....Hopefully one day , i will become like you!
