Since I was five I have been competing in beauty pageants. Participating in pageants has made me extremely involved with volunteering. It is something I have become very passionate about. I have volunteered with organizations such as; P.A.D.S, Open Arms Mission Food Pantry, Teen Court Volunteer, Kids Hope United, Special Olympics and many more. A typical year of volunteering for me consists of over 600 hours.
This will be my first year with ASB Detroit and I am thrilled. Although I have done so much community service in the past I think ASB Detroit is going to be my favorite. It is going to be so good to meet other people like me who enjoy giving back to communities in need. It'll be good to volunteer away from home for awhile.
