(I'm the one holding up the peace sign!)Hey Guys! I'm Jessica Shaddawvine. 22 Years old. I currently live in Auburn Hills, Mi. I am at Oakland University and transferring to Eastern Michigan University. I chose to do Detroit ASB this year because I've done ASB or a type of Alternative Break 3 or 4 other times. I've also done Americorps VISTA in New Orleans. I can't remember anymore! But every time never being in my state! I'm just ready to be apart of something that is in my community. I'm excited to be a Team Leader, though I am a little nervous about there being SO MANY U of M Dearborn students. I'm sure we'll have a great time and I can't wait to get to know you guys! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to volunteer. I have really found out who I was through volunteering. Although I'm a wild party girl who loves to have fun, I have a great heart and I would do anything to make my community better!

I love AmeriCorps*VISTA! I work for Michigan Campus Compact, and we have about 22 VISTA's around the state! It's great that you were involved in that program- I hope you had a good time doing it!
